9th Avenue has always been a Durban favourite. This is their new home, on the Durban international yacht mole. The old steel-frame building, built in the 90’s, was completely refreshed with a light nautical palette.

To allow kitchen staff to appreciate the setting and customers to appreciate the staff, the kitchen was completely opened to the harbour view. The ground floor is all dining and the first floor a softer cocktail bar and private dining room.

It’s hoped that this project will breathe new life into this area of the city.
